The Local Government Ombudsman (LGO) is an independent person who investigates allegations of maladministration which causes injustice to the person who has complained.
The Ombudsman investigates complaints about most council matters including housing, planning and council tax.

The Annual Review is a report that the Local Government Ombudsman sends this Council. It gives details of our performance in dealing with complaints submitted to them and also provides us with information to help us improve our handling of complaints.
