The Council is involved in a number of Partnerships, both locally, county-wide and regional. In 2006/07 a Review of Partnership working was undertaken to ensure the Council fully exploits the benefits of all current and future partnership arrangements. By working effectively with local partners we can improve the quality of life of the residents of the District as well as assisting in providing high quality, value for money services.
The following two documents 'Partnership Policy' and 'Partnership Checklist' are a direct result of the partnership work undertaken during 2006/07. The documents explain in more detail the councils vision and scope for partnership working together with an approved definition of an approved partnership as apposed to a joint or contractual working agreement.
