Chairman of the Council

The Chairman of the District Council is elected in May each year at the Annual Meeting. It is the Chairman's responsibility to represent the District at a wide range of functions a well as Chair each meeting of the full Council.

The current Chairman is Cllr Eric Payne and the Vice-Chairman is Cllr Revd Neville Beamer.
