Local Area Agreement for Warwickshire

Stratford-on-Avon District Council has worked with its partners both in the District and Countywide to contribute to the development of a Local Area Agreement (LAA) for Warwickshire. The LAA is essentially an agreed list of priorities that will be delivered in partnership to improve public services for the people of Warwickshire. Central government had determined that Warwickshire should have an LAA in place by 1st April 2007, and this target was achieved.

Warwickshire County Council is co-ordinating the ongoing development and implementation of the LAA on behalf of the partners. Within Stratford-on-Avon District the implementation is overseen by the Stratford District Partnership, which has been re-organised to directly support delivery of the identified local priorities.
