Gaydon Inn was notorious for its connections with highwaymen in the 18th century. The 16th century manor house was once the home of the Askell family. The church clock is a 1914-18 war memorial and the village flagpole commemorates the 1977 Silver Jubilee. The Heritage Motor centre is nearby.
