The District Council is part of the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP); a group that brings together voluntary and statutory organisations including the Police, the County Council, the Primary Care Trust and others in order to address crime and disorder in the District. A comprehensive audit of crime has been carried out across South Warwickshire and the results are attached. The CDRP has developed a set of targets against priorities which have been based on the findings of the audit. These are built into the new strategy for 2005-2008. Please click on the link on the right to view the Strategy for Crime and Disorder.
Delivery of this strategy is going to be through geographically-based action plans. A key theme of this strategy is tackling anti-social behaviour. We have developed a partnership approach to dealing with this problem; further details can be found in the document 'Anti-Social Behaviour: A South Warwickshire Partnership Approach May 2005', which can be downloaded from the link on the right.
A newly launched online newsletter can be viewed by using the links on right.
