All local councils now have a duty to consider how their services can help reduce crime following the Crime & Disorder Act 1998. Stratford-on-Avon District Council has already been working in partnership with local organisations for a number of years on crime reduction, including the police and Warwickshire County Council, and a Crime and Disorder Strategy has been produced.
A Crime and Disorder Audit has also been carried out for the area.
For further information about crime reduction in the South Warwickshire area, please contact the Crime and Disorder Reduction Strategy Co-ordinator by email at: policyandpr@stratford-dc.gov.uk or by telephone on 01789 260127 and fax on 01789 260007.
