Council tax and National Non-Domestic Rates - Payment Options

Direct Debit

This is the easiest way to pay Council Tax and National Non-Domestic Rates (NNDR).

Direct Debit payers will have the choice of any one of the following four payment dates: 7th, 14th, 21st or 28th of the month.

If you would like to pay by Direct Debit, please telephone:

• or by telephoning 01789 260979 Mon-Fri 09.00am -5.00pm

PLEASE NOTE A 2% SURCHARGE WILL BE MADE FOR PAYMENTS BY CREDIT CARD

Payments in Person

The District Council offices are open Monday to Friday between 9.00am - 5.00pm at the following locations:

• Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6HX
• Globe House, Priory Road, Alcester B49 6DZ
• Telegraph Street, Shipston-on-Stour CV36 4DA
• The Grange, Coventry Road, Southam CV47 1QB

You can pay by, cheque, Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro, Delta, Electron or Solo. Please bring your bill with you so that we can print a receipt onto it.
Cash is not accepted at Council offices.

Post Office and Payzone (Cash and Cheques)

You can pay at your local Post Office or any outlet displaying the pink Payzone logo free of charge.

• You will need to register to use this service.
• Once registered a swipe card will be issued so that you can pay at the outlets mentioned above.

By post

Postal payments by cheque or postal order may be sent to:

Revenues and Housing, PO Box 12, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, CV37 6HY.

Cheques should be crossed and made payable to Stratford-on-Avon District Council. You need only write your account reference on the reverse of the cheque.

If you would like a receipt please send your bill with your payment. Please do not send post dated cheques.

Bank Standing Order

If you want to pay by Standing Order you will need to make your own arrangements directly with your bank ensuring that you quote your Council Tax Reference number.
