Before you start to complete your Community Grant Application Form please check that your organisation is eligible by reading the who can apply? page and that your project fits our funding criteria, see Criteria and point scoring.
Read the Community Grant Guidance Notes in conjunction with the Community Grant Application Form, if you have any queries or questions contact the Grants Team on 01789 260694 or community.grants@stratford-dc.gov.uk
It is important you complete the Community Grant Application Form clearly and as thoroughly as possible and do not refer to additional documentation. We process many applications and it may slow the progress of your application if information is missing or needs clarification.
Check the Closing dates and meeting dates page to ensure you allow sufficient time to complete and return your application form. Don’t forget to allow time for your local District or County Councillor to complete section 5 of the application form. The Councillor must represent the Ward in which the project is to take place. To find out which Councillor represents your ward see the Councillor contact details page.
It is important that you have identified at least one measurable outcome for your project, see CES Planning Triangle document, this is a step by step guide to setting SMART outcomes.
To ensure your application is presented to the correct Joint Committee(s) we need to know where the project is taking place, how many people will benefit and from which area, see Ward map.
We do not require any additional documents at the application stage, however, you may be asked to supply quotations if you are awarded a grant. We will also require a copy of your organisations latest bank statement in order to make grant payments directly into your bank account.
