Household Bulky Waste Collections

If you have a large item of household waste to dispose of, we offer a bulky waste collection service where we will collect a maximum of 6 items per household for a prepaid charge of £20.00 (£20.40 if paying by credit card) per collection.

Collections will be made within 5 working days after your payment and request has been processed.

If you are unsure of what is classed as 'bulky waste', the general rule is that it is anything that you would normally take with you when you move house. There are, of course, some exceptions and some examples are shown below. For full details, advice or a request form, please call us.

Examples of what we CAN take:
Cookers, Carpets, Dishwashers, Hoovers, Mattresses, Tables, Settees, Televisions, Wardrobes (free standing), Washing Machines, Bedbases, Bicycles, Fridges and Freezers.

Examples of what we can NOT take:
Business and Commercial Waste, Builder's Waste, Fitted Kitchen Units, DIY Waste, Roofing Materials, Sink Units, Sheds, W.C.s, Garden Waste, Gas Bottles.

When booking this service you will need to specify the items to be collected and the collection point.

Items that can not be removed as part of the service can be collected by our contractor, Biffa, who will collect such items by prior arrangement but will make a charge. You can contact Biffa direct on 01789 293722.
