Licensing and Registration Permissions

The Licensing Section is based in Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford upon Avon.

We are responsible for the issue of a wide variety of licences and permits ensuring that the minimum standards of public safety and public protection are met.

We monitor and process applications and provide help and guidance on the kind of licence or permission you may need. Most applications involve the payment of an administration fee.

Our Enforcement Policy

We will carry out our enforcement procedures in accordance with the Statutory Code of Practice for Regulators, which came into force on 6 April 2008. The new code replaces the Voluntary Concordat on Good Enforcement that had been adopted by this Council.
