Caravan Sites

Caravan sites are licensed by the District Council under the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960 (as amended by the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provision) Act 1982.

Caravan site licences are only issued if planning permission or a Lawful Development Certificate has been obtained for the land.

The District Council is also responsible for the licensing of single residential caravan sites.
