Dual Drivers Licences

With effect from the 1 June 2009 all Drivers' licences will be dual licences.

This will mean that the new driver badges will entitle drivers to drive either Hackney Carriage or Private Hire Vehicles.

The new licence will be valid for a three year duration. The cost will remain the same as for a single function three year licence.

Those wishing to apply to become a licensed driver should contact the Licensing section for an application pack, which contains the various forms required.
