Bathing Water

Within the District there are a number of Swimming Pools and Jacuzzi's in Leisure centres, Hotels and Private Health Clubs which fall to the public protection team for enforcement of the Health and Safety at Work Act. Whilst monitoring of compliance with and enforcement of Health and Safety requirements is carried out by the public protection team, the chemical and bacteriological safety of the water remains the responsibility of the proprietors of the business.
