Discretionary Grants and Disabled Facility Grants Grants are available for minor and major works, from small scale repairs and improvements through to major works for unfit properties. Insulation grants for loft and cavity wall insulation All households are eligible for grants of at least 50% towards the cost of this insulation. However those over 70 or in receipt of income related benefits may be entitled to 100% grants. Advice on energy efficiency is available from the Warwickshire Energy Efficiency Advice Centre (WEEAC) or by calling 0800 988 2881.
Home repair assistance grant Age Concern Warwickshire runs a Care and Repair service for tenants of privately rented homes, who are aged 60 and over. This service is also available for those who are disabled, of any age. Care and Repair caseworks can support clients to live independently in their own homes by helping to arrange repairs and adaptations using their handyman service or liaising with vetted contractors. They can also make referrals to Home Safety Check, Gardening Service, Daily Living Support and Carers Short Break Service all run by Age Concern. Visit Age Concern - Care and Repair
Festival and Event Funding Stratford-on-Avon District Council, in partnership with Warwickshire County Council would like to invite applicants to apply for small amounts of funding to support local events and festivals held within Stratford-on-Avon District, that support the local economy and specifically involving businesses from the local area.
