Business During the Credit Crunch

Stratford District Council do not directly support business, but in this section we hope to provide helpful information so business can get support from the right organisations.

Stratford District Council (Business Rates)
The council are responsible for the billing, collection and recovery of the nationally set business rates, also know as National Non Domestic Rates (NNDR). More information is available online.

Business Link West Midlands
The main source of advice for businesses is provided by Business Link West Midlands who have set up a dedicated credit crunch hotline: 0845 002 0900. The website should be the first port of call for businesses searching for help.

During these difficult times, many businesses are becoming increasingly concerned about how they will cope. Support is available from Support West Midlands. They also list events aimed at helping businesses through the period of recession.
